because the Oscar went to Undefeated in this category

...and the winners are also:
Woody Allen for Writing the best Original Screenplay in Midnight in Paris [iiiiiiyyyeeaaahhh]

Christopher Plummer, the oldest actor [82 years old!], gets his first Oscar as best supporting actor in Beginners [*chapeau*]

Michel Hazanavicious directing The Artist [*sniff*... no Oscar for Martin Scorsese... *sniff*]

Jean Dujardin the best actor in the leading role of The Artist [uuuuppppsss.... no golden trophy for Brad Pitt or George Clooney, being handled as favorites....]

Meryl Streep the best actress in the leading role of The Iron Lady[iiiiyeeeeaaahhhhhh.....iiiiiiyyeeeeaaahhhh....oh my god...iiiiyyeeeaaaahhhhhh..... incredible]

The best picture was awarded Thomas Langmann, the producer of The Artist :-) [*great*]

So, The Artist and Hugo Cabret are the great winners of this Oscar Night. Each of them got 5 of the 25 Oscars been awarded.

All things considered it`s a feather in our cap that we, the Europeans, cleared the table in L.A.
That`s great!

Das lag vermutlich daran, liebe Margit, dass um mich herum alles entweder amerikanisch-englisch oder französisch oder osteuropäisch sprach, das sog mich in den Bann ;-)
Na... es kommen auch wieder andere Einträge von mir. Jedoch... der Spur nach denke ich, dass rüberkam, welche Filme bzw. welche Schauspieler mit dem "Goldjungen" ausgezeichnet wurden!?

Dear Dietmar,
wouldn`t it be a nice vision of the future,
being awaken in the middle of a great plot one fine day,
finding ourselves between the storylines of an interesting book.
Something similiar like Gil happened, the protagonist of Midnight in Paris, when he lost his way to the hotel and found himself in the ancient Paris of the 1920ies years meeting F. J. Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Gertrude Stein and other artists.
What a phantastic dream isn`t it ?
